Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.

We will be meeting in person at First Baptist Church, Somerville, Tennessee, for the 2025-2026 year.

Our classes meet weekly during the school year, Thursday mornings at 10:30.

Our class year will begin on August 28, 2025.

Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions or you can choose to complete your questions online.

Each week you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching time.

From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

Currently Studying: Psalms

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present.

This course of Psalms is a brand new course. It is written thematically rather than chronologically, making it easier to grasp their main idea and apply them to your own conversations with God. We are looking forword to sharing this study with you.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.

We offer baby, preschool, middle school and highschool classes.
